With over 30 years of experience as a New York State Licensed Optician specializing in custom optics & fashion design, Mr. Jay Binkowitz is here to take care of & assist with any unique optical needs you may have.

Kayla De Sola brings over a decade of experience at American Eye Care to her role as office manager. She contributes this high level of expertise to our practice by ensuring that patients receive outstanding professional services.  She is also an expert on insurance and financial issues.

Elba Valdes, a seasoned veteran in the optical field. With over 20 years of experience advising and guiding patients on fashion eyewear and lens choices.

With over  15 years of experience & a high tech computerized on site lab Peter De Vera prepares high quality eyewear that exceeds all standards & specifications. He is responsible for day-to-day operations along with the selection, manufacture, and dispensing of all eyeglasses. Peter brings a very high level of optical and technical expertise to our practice

Jean Silverman is very knowledgeable in all areas and can help with any special needs. As one of our frame stylists, Jean is responsible for the unique and diversified selection of eyewear we offer at American Eye Care

Vanessa Gomez is a vital part of office operations. Vanessa is responsible for pre-testing patients for the doctor, visual field examinations, scheduling appointments, contact lens ordering and tracking for most vision plans.  She is fluent in Spanish adding a very welcome dimension to our staff.
